Foster's appoints new head of CUB

Foster's Group Ltd have appointed a new head of its Carlton United Breweries operation.

John Pollaers, a former naval officer, was most recently based in Singapore with international brewer Diageo, as president of that group's Asia Pacific division.

Mr Pollaers will report to Foster's chief executive officer Ian Johnston. He will begin his new role on April 7.
