Property developer Devine has reported strong first half residential housing and land sales ahead of the release of its interim financial results this month.
Devine said that for the six months to December 31, 2009, it achieved in excess of 1,100 net land sales and 700 net house and land package sales in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
It said this represented an increase of more than 100 per cent on the same period the previous year for its net land sales and 70 per cent for net house and land package sales.
House and land and land-only sales for the period were significantly up on the corresponding period for the previous year in the three states.
Queensland recorded a 197 per cent lift in house and land package sales and 130 land-only sales.
Victoria recorded a 56 per cent increase in house and land package sales, and more than 300 land-only sales.
South Australia recorded a 32 per cent lift in house and land package sales, and 89 land-only sales.
The company will release its first half results on February 10.
