Markets
ASX: The December share price index futures contract was down 48 points at 4707.
Wall Street: Dow down 157.15 points, or 1.5%, to 10,325.7, S&P 500 down 15.04 points, or 1.4%, to 1099.24, Nasdaq down 29.33, or 1.5%, to 1947.39.
Dollar: Opens sinks below 77 US cents in Monday morning trading, dropping for a ninth day.
Oil: Fell 9 cents to $US93.88 a barrel.
Gold: Fell $US11.10, or 1.3%, to $US833.20 an ounce.
