Ten extends notice period of Falloon contract

Ten Network has agreed to a deal with its executive chairman, Nick Falloon, extending the notice either side must give if his position is to be terminated.

Ten said in a statment today that Mr Falloon's position now would be subject to a 12 months notice period if either side wished to terminate.

Previously, Mr Falloon was on a 12 month contract, which expired on August 31 this year, with three months notice to terminate.

"Mr Falloon has agreed to vary his arrangements so that Ten Holdings or Mr Falloon must give not less than 12 months notice if either party wishes to terminate the employment arrangements on a 'without cause' basis," Ten said in its statement.

"The existing employment arrangements otherwise remain unaltered."
