Danielle Wallace's pop up store in Sydney.

Danielle Wallace left our shores a few years ago to grow her business of beautiful, modern, handmade ties in Italy. She had set up home on Lake Como, just near her silk mill, and was going about her business in glamorous style.

Her wares are stocked by Bergdorf Goodman, Selfridges and Tomorrowland and Anna Wintour hand-picked one of Wallace's creations for Roger Federer to wear on the cover of Men's Vogue.

Family has brought her home to Sydney for now, which is a win for us. This week she officially launched a pop-up store in Sydney's CBD, showcasing the best of her wares as well as a collection of shirts (a collaboration with man-about-town Toby Osmond), Italian swim shorts, belts, wallets and pochettes.

Also in store is an eclectic collection of men's accessories sourced from around the world: umbrellas by Francesco Maglia, Jack Spade canvas totes and wallets, panama hats from Ecuador and Taschen-style books.

The Danielle Wallace pop-up store is open until the end of December at the corner of Macquarie and Bent streets, Sydney city.
