Financial advice

February 1, 2012

Question: I am 65 and will continue to work until I make the decision not to. How can I choose a person to look at my financial situation so that I get common sense answers and easy to follow advice?

Answer:  Finding a financial adviser is really no different to finding a doctor, lawyer or motor mechanic. You need to find one who is well established and has a good reputation and who is also a member of the appropriate professional body. Recommendations from friends are a good way to start.
