BP service stations around Perth will tomorrow hike their prices by a whopping 11 cents per litre to 132.9 cents per litre.

WA government agency FuelWatch said today that 28 BP sites would increase their unleaded petrol prices, and has advised motorists to fill up today or tomorrow to beat the hike.

In better news for motorists, 71 per cent of stations in Perth will be selling below the metropolitan average of 123.3 cents per litre tomorrow.

The cheapest unleaded petrol will be available for 119.8 cents per litre at Caltex Woolworths in Mirrabooka and South Lake.

Perth petrol prices tend to follow a weekly cycle where they increase sharply on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before decreasing over the weekend.

Fuelwatch said that Tuesday was currently the cheapest day to fill up.
